The Law Library of Victoria invites you to attend our Switch On... information sessions. These twenty-five minute sessions are suited to judicial officers, court staff, legal professionals, law students, and anyone with an interest in law.

This session, presented as part of Law Week 2018, provides guidance for locating unreported judgments of the Victorian Supreme Court, County Court, Magistrates' Court and VCAT. You will find out which online free and subscription websites hold judgments and what to do when you cannot find what you are looking for.

This session will enable you to perform faster-than-normal complex searches to identify case law, legislative points and keypoints in authorities.

This 60 minute tour is recommended for the legal profession, exploring all four levels of the Library and showcasing the range of current and historical resources that are available in the collection. Due to the instructional nature of the tour (identifying resources and explaining how and when to use them), participants are eligible to claim CPD points on completion of the tour.

Lyrical Lunchtimes is back for 2018! The Law Library of Victoria and BottledSnail Productions present a series of lunchtime concerts designed to provide an opportunity to relax and reflect in the beautiful surrounds of the Supreme Court Library. The April concert features a festival of piano music with Bach and Mozart pieces played by Paul Glass and Chloe Lee, and original compositions for piano by Genevieve Trinh.

All are welcome, entry is free, no need to register. Take a seat or simply wander the beautiful Library surrounds and enjoy the music.
