Law Institute of Victoria Library

The LIV Library provides library services to members of the legal profession. Joining the Law Insitute of Victoria (LIV) has gives you access to library services, information and resources.

Victorian Legal Aid Public Law Library

This Library provides facilities for members of the public including free wireless internet access, public-use computers and photocopiers. Librarians can assist you to locate legislation, case law or other legal material from the library’s collection.

State Library of Victoria

The State Library of Victoria provides public access to a vast collection of print and electronic legal resources. They subscribe to 27 law databases, 17 of which can be accessed remotely with a library card for private research and study purposes. You cannot use SLV legal databases for business, commercial or work-related purposes.

The Law Library Victoria acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Country, and we pay our respects to First Peoples across Victoria and Australia. The Supreme Court Library stands on the lands of the Wurundjeri and Boonwurrung of the Kulin Nation.
