Accessing the Collection

Access to the collection is for legal practice, reference and research.

Judicial Officers and staff of the Supreme Court, County Court, Magistrates’ Court, Coroner's Court, Children's Court, Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) Members and Court Services Victoria staff have access to online resources and are able to borrow from the print collections. Online access is available via the Law Library intranet (login required).

Members of the legal profession have access to online resources via computers inside the Supreme Court Library. Limited borrowing of print resources is also available.

To arrange collection for all print resources phone 03 9603 6282. 

The public also have access to online resources via the computers inside the Supreme Court Library. Print items cannot be borrowed, but can be used on site at the Supreme Court Library.

The Supreme Court Library offers free WiFi. Photocopying, printing and scanning facilities are available at a small cost per page. A photocopy card can be purchased at the Library.
